In addition to works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Lilli Boulanger, Marl Chaet and Detlef Kobjela, works by Sorbian composers (Jan Cyz, Lukas Zschorlich, Ulrich Pogoda, Felix Bräuer and Sebastian Elikowski-Winkler) created specifically for this occasion will be performed.
The composers were commissioned to process influences from South American music, such as tango, in order to reawaken in us the joy of life that was sometimes forgotten in this turbulent, conflict-filled time.
