In the spirit of Clara and Robert Schumann, the Schumann House offers young artists a stage. In the "Podium" concert series, students from the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Academy of Music and Theater Leipzig present themselves. Robert was one of the first teachers at the conservatory founded by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, and Clara also taught there for a short time until the artist couple moved to Dresden.

Students of Prof. Peter Bruns' cello class will present themselves.
