Salon life between Leipzig and Paris

As part of the Con spirito "Salon d'esprit" festival, Peter Korfmacher (Head of the Culture section of the Leipziger Volkszeitung), Gregor Nowak (Organising Director of the Con spirito chamber music festival), Peter Bruns (Artistic Director of Con spirito) and Franziska Franke-Kern (Press, PR, Marketing Con spirito) report on salon lions, up-and-coming careers and entertaining musical stories.

This is where new compositions were presented in select circles, careers were forged, music and literary history was written - and the stars of the day were there to greet them. Follow in the footsteps of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Clara Schumann, Fryderyk Chopin, Hector Berlioz, Richard Wagner and others.
